Growth Chart

I have always thought the idea of recording your childrens' height as they grow was a fun idea. I have seen a lot of people do it on a wall somewhere in their home, but when I saw this growth chart over at Cozycottagecute, (http://www.cozycottagecute.com/2012/04/diy-growth-chart-tutorial.html), I loved it. I can also take it with me, if/when we move on to another home. I made mine a little different, but I basically followed her tutorial. I don't have a fancy camera and so my pictures are really lousy, but you get the idea.  It is really tall. I made it six feet, so that I can measure the boys even when they enter teenage years. :)

I haven't figured out where I am going to hang it yet, but I will show you when I do.

And just for cuteness...

Way cute! I don't think we'd ever have to worry about having a 6 ft mark for our family. :) Who is taking piano lessons in your house? I've been wanting to put Siena in. hey, do you mind sending me your pics from our night at Temple Square? You can take any of mine off the blog, but I'm pretty sure you got a better group one than I did (at least with more people in it.:) And would you also send one of your family for our good old scrapbook? That'd be fabulous! Thx.

Kathryn, what a great idea to make it portable, it is much more saveable that way and will survive painting!! How are you guys doing?

Super cute! I really like it and it is so great that you made it portable. I bet you'll be adding some extra inches to the top eventually. :)
